"Surviving Winter. Pumas in Patagonia" is the new documentary by film director Mauricio Escalona. Filmed in June 2024, in the middle of the Patagonian winter, it shows how difficult it is for the region's largest predator to survive the harsh winter conditions.

Through a first-person narrative, Mauricio Escalona immerses us in the winter expedition of puma sightings at the "Laguna Amarga" Ranch in Patagonia, Chile.
